SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 9

Requesting the West Virginia division of highways to name the
bridge connecting routes 16 and 28 in Clay county, West
Virginia, the "Clarence M. Stover Bridge".
Whereas, Clarence M. Stover was born September 10, 1915, at
Eagle Bend, Clay county, West Virginia; and
Whereas, Clarence M. Stover has been an outstanding and
civic-minded citizen of Clay county who has involved himself in a
number of projects which were conceived for the betterment of the
citizens of Clay county, West Virginia; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Legislature hereby requests the West Virginia
division of highways to name the bridge connecting routes 16 and
28 in Clay county, West Virginia, the "Clarence M. Stover
Bridge"; and, be it
Further Resolved,
That the Clerk of the Senate is hereby
requested to forward a copy of this resolution to the
commissioner of the West Virginia division of highways.
